Essay test over social problems endemic to educational bureaucracy
Tuesday:
Creation of personal goal plan
Wednesday-Friday: film Simon Burch
Friday: essay in relation to elements in film

Introduction to Journalism:
Students will demonstrate the ability to:
~identify elements of sound theme development and design in publications
orally & in writing
~brainstorm possible ideas for theme develpment
~create a design idea based on knowledge acquired that adheres to journalistic standards
Monday-Wednesday
Examination of yearbooks from around the country & identification of elements of theme development & design
Thursday & Friday: critique assigned yearbook’s theme development and design
